Back in the Green Mountains again.

I’m currently visiting “home” in the Connecticut River Vally, Vermont. My family has a 99 acre farm here in a cozy little hollow and it’s truly a sight to behold in the summer.

Each time I come home to visit, I feel like another puzzle piece clunks into place with an audible THUD.

When I first moved away and came back or a visit, it was just a nice change of pace. Then I became afraid to come home, for fear that I wouldn’t want to go back to Florida.

This time, I do find myself wanting to stay here, but it’s no longer coming from a place of desperation. It’s really interesting to witness this shift in perspective within myself.

I think it’s so important to get quiet and listen to our internal dialogue. We must ask ourselves (preferably our higher selves) why we want what we want. Why we feel how we feel, or act the way we act.

For me it’s going to be important to really listen to the reasons why we live and work where we do. I think there have been a great deal of lessons to learn in SWFL, just as there were lessons learned in Vermont.

While I do not see us living permanently in SWFL, I do not want to hurry out, and miss important lessons still to come!

I started this blog to highlight resilience and ruthless compassion as ways of life. The combination of the two are a clear roadmap to the next stop, but you have to slow down and recognize the sights along the way.

Until next time…

Marie

P.S. Stay tuned for a group of new Akashic Records readings that will be available in early August.
